Flowatch Flowmeter Station:
JDC's FLOWATCH is designed for measuring wind and water flow with ease and accuracy. The Flowatch Kit comes with a collapsible carbon rod, which contains an attachment for a variety of measuring sensors. At the tip of the rod is either a water flow or air flow impeller, along with a thermometer. The Flowatch Kit Includes: Display unit, long carbon rod, 25mm air impeller, 60mm water impeller, and carrying case.

As of November, 2007, the Flowatch has been discontinued. Replacement parts are still available, but the display and hanging sensor is out of stock. We are currently designing a new version, but do not know when it will be completed (possibly end of 2008).

Details of the Flowatch:

FLOW RATE:

  • Balanced impeller
  • The impeller is magnetized, producing a magnetic field when rotating which is passed through the cable to the display unit
  • Records maximum flow speed

TEMPERATURE:

  • Temperature adjusts quickly
  • Temperature is read at the end of the carbon rod
  • Water temperature is read as well
  • Records maximum and minimum temperatures

 
The Flowatch comes as a kit, with the display, long carbon rod, 25mm air impeller, 60mm water impeller, and carrying case. Accessories are available, or parts alone can be ordered. The set must consist of the display, an impeller, and a rod. The hanging water sensor is used with just the display.
