NEW Flowatch Flowmeter Station:
JDC's FLOWATCH is designed for measuring wind and water flow with ease and accuracy. The Flowatch Kit comes with a telescoping rod and a variety of measuring sensors. The Flowatch Kit Includes: Display unit, 2m telescopic rod, 25mm air impeller, 60mm water impeller, and carrying case. An 18mm air impeller and hanging water sensor with 15m cable are available accessories. The NEW Flowatch is now water proof, has a backlight, and can be set to measure an average speed between 3 minutes and 24 hours. Available in April 2009.

As of November, 2007, the original Flowatch was discontinued. The new Flowatch uses the same sensors, 18mm air, 25mm air, 60mm water, and hanging water sensor. The new Flowatch uses a different style rod, one that is telescoping rather than collapsing. The original Flowatch can be found HERE.

Details of the Flowatch:

FLOW RATE:

  • Balanced impeller
  • The impeller is magnetized, producing a magnetic field when rotating which is passed through the cable to the display unit
  • Records maximum and average flow speed

TEMPERATURE:

  • Temperature adjusts quickly
  • Temperature is read at the end of the rod
  • Water temperature is read as well
  • Records maximum and minimum temperatures

 
The Flowatch comes as a kit, with the display, long carbon rod, 25mm air impeller, 60mm water impeller, and carrying case. Accessories are available, or parts alone can be ordered. The set must consist of the display, an impeller, and a rod. The hanging water sensor is used with just the display.
